2.   Careers and Physical Fitness
The students will become aware of the level of physical fitness they may need for their future job employment. They will understand the need to continue to have a physically active lifestyle depending on the degree of activity in their career.

4.   Getting Fit For Life
This lesson will teach the students how to be involved in designing a personal fitness program at the same time as participating in one. Fitness assessments in the areas of muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, and body composition will be administered, and the results printed on hard copy.

5.   Great Beginnings
Classes to be divided into teams consisting of 6 students each. One student from each team will be designated as Captain. The Captain's responsibility will be to keep accurate records of students fitness times and measurements.

6.   Some Physical Fitness Numbers
Ask students to suggest some activities that contribute to physical fitness, such as bike riding, walking, and swimming, and tell how numbers can help them use these activities to improve their physical fitness. For example, students can track the length of time or distance they bike or run, or the number of lengths they swim in a pool.
